The Vernon County Historical Society is the officially recognized county organization for the preservation of Vernon County's historical heritage. It is governed by an Executive Board that meets monthly and operates four historical sites: The Vernon County Museum, Old St. Mary's Church Museum, the Foreaker One Room Schoolhouse, and the historic Sherry-Butt House.

The next Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club meeting is Wednesday, March 13th at the Food Enterprise Center, 1201 North Main Street in Viroqua. Networking starts at 5:30, program begins at 6:00 pm.

The topic will be “Writing Grants, Getting Funded” with Sue Noble, Director of Vernon Economic Development Association. She will present practical and key steps in the writing process, defining a good project, strategizing your approach, understanding the funder, common mistakes to avoid and plenty of time for Q&A.

Whether you have an idea or just like to think different, join us for a dynamic evening of networking with lots of creative people. Everyone is welcome!
