The Vernon County Historical Society is the officially recognized county organization for the preservation of Vernon County's historical heritage. It is governed by an Executive Board that meets monthly and operates four historical sites: The Vernon County Museum, Old St. Mary's Church Museum, the Foreaker One Room Schoolhouse, and the historic Sherry-Butt House.

The next Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club meeting is Wednesday, March 14th at the Food Enterprise Center, 1201 North Main Street in Viroqua. Networking starts at 5:30, program begins at 6:00 pm.

“Branches Winery - What we've learned in five years” brings co-owner Therese Bergholz to share some of the challenges and celebrations they have experienced as new entrepreneurs. Learn about marketing and branding strategies, how to assess and attract your customer base as well as what worked and what didn’t work as she and her husband developed a new business in rural Westby.
