Do you have an idea for an invention or new product? Would you like to start your own business?  The Inventors and Entrepreneurs (I&E) Club can help you explore your idea and turn it into a product or business.  At our meetings you can share your ideas, network with other creative people and find resources to help you.  New ideas are just a spark away!

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at the Food Enterprise Center, 1201 North Main Street in Viroqua. Networking starts at 5:30 p.m., the program begins at 6:00 p.m. The meetings are free and no reservations are required.  Everyone is welcome!

Legal Tools to Protect Your Ideas and Inventions

This meeting will have a participant driven agenda, and can include questions on patents, trademarks, licensing, copyrights, trade secrets, or any other invention related topics. Our speaker is Nick Brannen, Patent Attorney and Owner of Brannen Law Office, LLC.  Brannen has been practicing intellectual property law for over 16 years. He received his JD from Marquette University, and his BS in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. Brannen earned honors on the Dean’s list at both Marquette University and Purdue University.

The Brannen Law Office is a law firm practicing extensively in the area of intellectual property. They help inventors, entrepreneurs and companies protect their innovations, brands, creative works and trade secrets. The firm counsels clients both on procurement of intellectual property rights, and the avoidance of other’s rights.

The firm works extensively in the areas of patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, licensing, non-infringement analysis and design around analysis. They are experienced with both domestic and international intellectual property law.

Brannen Law Office is strategically located in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. It serves clientele from across Wisconsin and the United States, as well as internationally. Clientele include both individuals and companies. Every client has a distinct goal, and the firm wants to help them achieve those goals by helping them navigate the complex intellectual property processes. Their goal is to help clients obtain the best protection possible by fully collaborating with clients before deciding on the best and proper courses of action.
